I have been surrounded by dogs all my life. Growing up with multiple dogs ultimately made me decide to go into the veterinary field for a career. I worked as a certified veterinary technician for 23 years before making the leap to working with my dogs full time.
I have been competing with my dogs in agility since 1995 when I went to my first agility trial with my mix breed Scooby, from there I was hooked! Since then I have trained and competed with many dogs including mix breeds, Border Collies and a Jack Russell terrier.
We have participated in many different national events including NADAC making it to the podium 3 times with my Border Collie Mariah. Also, AKC and USDAA where my Border Collie Tyra and I were finalists in both the Steeplechase and Grand Prix events. We have also trained and competed in Flyball, Barnhunt, Canine Musical Freestyle and dabbled in disc dog.
