Each dog and handler team must develop a unique communication system in order to successfully navigate a course. This depends both on the dog's needs as well as the handler.

In this seminar, Nancy Gagliardi Little will help you

  • develop better timing on turning cues for your dog,
  • a better connection with your dog
  • choose appropriate handling options for you and your dog

Sequences will be Masters level with jumps and tunnels. We will do 12-15 obstacle sequences, focusing on handling that is suited for you and your dog. The sequences will have Premier (AKC)/Master Challenge (USDAA) challenges.

Calling all puppy prodigies- This workshop is just for you! Get started on preferred practices and fantastic foundations for dog sports. Teams will learn plenty of games and exercises to keep busy while your puppy grows up. We will cover drive, confidence, age-appropriate exercises, relationship building and MUCH more!

This seminar will focus on walking the course and talking about handling options on tricky sequences.   We will discus the different options and choose the best handling solution for each dog.  Handlers will be able to try things a couple of different ways to determine which works best.  Ok if dogs are not jumping full height.

This seminar will focus on getting turns using front crosses or blind crosses. Nancy will help you decide which cross will work best on different sequences and then help you develop the handling to execute them.

This seminar will help your youngster (6 months to 18 months) learn the foundations skills that will build a great agility performance. Possibilities include wing wraps with handling and commitment training, flatwork, tunnels, pay attention to the momma (or poppa), and a bit of body awareness. There will be absolutely no jump work or obstacle sequencing done in this seminar.

 Prerequisite:

  • Dogs must be at least 6 months and not older than 18 months.
  • Please do not register a dog that has stress issues while crated. Your dog should be acclimated and comfortable being crated between being work sessions.

This seminar will help you perfect your connection, timing and feet forward handling with your young or unseasoned dog. Feet Forward handling will help get the most speed and best turns from your dog. The sequences will have jumps and tunnels. No contacts or weaves will be used.
