I didn’t start competing in dog agility until I was an adult, and I have since had several dogs that have gone on to compete nationally in the sport. I now train my dogs in multiple dog sports including Agility, Rally, and Obedience. I believe obedience is the corner stone of all dog sports.
Agility is the sport I love, but my favorite class to teach is Puppy Kindergarten. I love the “lightbulb” moments with puppies when they learn something new or conquer a fear. I have also trained one of my dogs to be a Therapy Dog and together we visit a local hospital several times a month.
