I began my dog training journey over 20 years ago, with our Golden Retriever Player. My agility obsession began as most people’s journey does, just to “try it out”. As they say, it was all over from there.
I got a Min Pin that had a less than desirable start in life and she ended up loving agility! And she ended up pretty fast too! When Lexi was about 6, I got my first Border Collie, bred by my mother. I waited a long time for Vibe!
Vibe is amazing and has taken me places I hadn’t seen before, like large national events, finals and even a few podiums.
I expanded our family with 2 more Border Collies, Vice and Versa. Both of whom are currently in training.
Over the years I’ve embraced a balanced training style. I love to train! I love the lightbulb moments both dogs and handlers have.
Other than agility, I train and compete in obedience, rally, scentwork, dock diving and FastCAT.
